Tamera Fields Parsons is the President and Chief Executive Officer for the Tennessee Center for Performance Excellence. She oversees TNCPE’s daily operations, continuing its mission of helping organizations reach peak performance and making their communities better places to live and work.
Prior to serving as President and CEO, Fields Parsons held volunteer roles with both TNCPE and the national Baldrige Performance Excellence Program through her tenures on the Baldrige National Quality Award Board of Examiners, the TNCPE Board of Examiners, and the TNCPE Panel of Judges. She has served many years in both the state and national program as a trainer and team leader. In 2009, she received the first Champion of Excellence Award from TNCPE. Fields Parsons has a BS degree from Tusculum University.
Before joining TNCPE as the President and CEO, Fields Parsons served as the Vice President for Quality and Performance Improvement for Mountain States Health Alliance in NE Tennessee and SW Virginia. She has served as a volunteer for Junior Achievement for 25 years, and currently serves as a pet rescue driver for Kindred Hearts Transport Connection.
