David is the Founder and President of The Excellence Advisory, a business excellence coaching and consulting firm serving small- and medium-sized organizations and their leaders.
As a coach, consultant, and speaker he is sought after for his expertise in helping organizations and their leaders achieve peak operating performance.
David has been active in the Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award Program at the state and national level since 1994. He is the 2020 recipient of the Ned R. McWherter Leadership Award from the Tennessee Center for Performance Excellence.
David has worked with and for some of the world’s leading nonprofit and for-profit organizations including The State of Tennessee, The Savannah Bananas, Texas Instruments, and Siemens. In addition, for seven years he was an instructor and consultant with Pal’s Sudden Service, a Malcolm Baldrige Award winner, in its Business Excellence Institute.
